	Watching The Moon is a band that has charted undefined territory in recent years. Hailing from Austin TX and harkening sounds of the great North West, WTM is redefining tones that have long since been lost with the last standby records of the early to mid 90's. 	The Jazz June recently reunited for a slew of benefit shows to help generate money for their long time friend and dedicated roadie who has developed a severe form of brain cancer. This release contains 17 live, rare and unreleased tracks from the Jazz June's career, including the first new material released since 2003. Accompanying the CD is an eleven-track bonus DVD featuring a four-camera shoot of the Jazz June's January 13th 2007 benefit show at the North Star in Philadelphia. Proceeds from the sales of this CD / DVD combo will go to the Adam Gerherdt fund. 	While ash and white noise flicker in television ad details, we witness the current shift and the forest burn. In retrospect we hold our breath, initiating the action of hope. And then the mental sound track starts. We're listening to the systematic deconstruction of mass appeal. The design on the bleach bottle begins to fade. Our senses are slowlystirred, and the break-downs are felt for miles. Wake up, and find yourself on the map.

	The back drop is set, a waste land they call Montgomery County, PA.. Broken down steel towns echo the ghosts of a blue collar post industrialized society. Just over the hill on the right, we have our local Nuclear Power Plant.. With two concrete columns stretching into the sky. Each pillar emits a pillowy, looking white cloud that lingers in the atmosphere and dances on the horizon. Radiation pills are received annually in the local mail, but there is no shortage of strip malls and track homes that are beginning to populate what would sound like a forgotten purgatory. This is a metaphor for the RedTops and their music, except the backdrop happens to be their neighborhood.

Andrew Lows' post Jazz June project seems to have rediscovered a sound that was loved and lost. 	Polished, powerful, intricate and stompy... Just a few adjectives to drop on this dynamic indie-rock... And Indie... It has never sounded so good. 	If you like non-stop, in your face guitar speed and bass bounce with a side of ska... then be ready to be floored. This formula mixed with the intensity of staggered breakdowns and a vocal style reminiscent of early American Steel is enough to stop you in mid-sentence; no joke. This album is a precursor to this Colorado band's involvement with UW. We're bringing them East, so be ready.

UWR001 Covert Agency - (S/T orange ep I) $7.00
	The Covert Agency are back, with a new self-titled e.p. these second year slammers from Kutztown University, Pa. have it all. If you like edginess with your indie, and scream along melodies with your power pop punk; then you'll freak when you hear this six song savior. two vocalists are featured in this three piece band that throw insightful lyrics with harmonization all over the board. The bands throw away ethic seems to reinvent a fresh sound of cartharsis. Very real, very powerful. The kind of music that makes you drive fast. This band is hard to label, but we did our best. trust us when we say that pa. has a secret weapon.
