Watching The Moon : After years of performing with national touring acts like Sound of Reverse, Velorum, These Men are Liars, and Volcom Entertainment artists, Single Frame, on the Vans Warped Tour. Brown set out on his own, forming Watching the Moon in 2002. Performing first as a solo artist after a cross-country move to Austin, Texas, he soon set out to recruit old friends and talented players that would comprise the band's revolving cast of characters over the next few years. After a hiatus that saw Brown playing guitar and bass with Velorum and These Men are Liars, he wrote and recorded a debut e.p at the Sweatbox with Jason Morales in the fall of 2005. Headquartering in Austin, Watching the Moon performed a spree of regional dates across Texas, playing at venues like Emo's, Beerland, 710, Plus, Stubbs, Beauty Bar, and others. These appearances received press praise in the Austin Chronicle and zines like Whoopsy.
With a remastered version of their debut LP and label support from Universal Warning Records, Brown's Watching the Moon plans a spring 2008 tour with a lot of laughs and surprises.

The Jazz June : There are very few times that bands are able to be associated with punk music, while playing a derivative of slowly intricate alternative rock. Hailing from Eastern Pennsylvania, The Jazz June have done just that; blurring the ever-expanding genre of punk by incorporating the very honesty and passion for playing music that the hardest of punk bands possess. In this day and age, where criticisms and clichés abound, The Jazz June are honest enough to use their music as a means of staying positive. And in a clear cut example of this, a slew of benefit shows were immediately planned and embarked on upon after receiving news that their long time friend and dedicated roadie Adam Gerhardt has developed a severe form of brain cancer. Donating all proceeds to a fund developed for Adam, the Jazz June spent the majority of 2007 working on generating funds for the cause. "The Scars to Prove It" will be their final statement in their dedication to the group conscious that the band has so adamantly stuck by.. With proceeds being donated, again to Adam. A simple quote from an interview sums up this ideal up "We would just urge people to look out for each other and to respect one another"

Fifty Caliber Kiss : a wise man once said......fifty caliber kiss was invented in the early part of 5 billion bc, by a race of metal people known as, say it with me "robots." the plan was, in effect, create five super-human beings, powerful enough to deliver the most horrifyingly evil music the universe had ever heard. it would not be an easy task. the galaxy was at war and tungsten alloy was heavily taxed(its been said this is what the bands bones are made of) and it was difficult for robots to build anything but other robots, because they have metal claws instead of hands, and, well you see where im goin with this. anyway, eventually the robots were sucessful and fifty caliber kiss was born. they set off across the galaxy in search of a venue suitable for the largest concert ever..........in the history and/or future of the cosmos. they decided on earth, because they always had fun in st louis. the stage was set for revolution. a metal revolution, one that would play out for the history of eternity.

Snakes & Music : Scattered about NJ and Philadelphia ,
Snakes and Music sound is of the folk /
country / indie rock genre with strong melodies,
a tight rhythm section, layered guitars and an
array of piano / keyboards. Live or recorded, the
Snakes maintain a dynamic that ranges from a
whisper to a hollar with psychedelic keyboards
and reverb guitars filling in the gaps. This band
is the perfect soundtrack for a drug induced road
trip from NYC to Texas. Featuring Dan O'Neill
( bass ) and Andrew Low ( vox / guitars ) of the
Jazz June, Snakes and Music play a unique blend
of indie rock with country and folk influences.
Lead guitarist Gregg Levy whose past credits
include Citron ( formed by Mike Jourgenson of
Wilco ), lays down his lazy Neil Young styleslow
finger melodies. Recent additions to the band include
Brent Sisk on keyboards and Jonathan Nigro ( formally
of TransLove Airways ) on drums.
The oufit has been endlessly playing the east coast

Holiday BodyBag : Is a band, a thought, a group, an idea, a faction, a concept. Call it what you want, we don't give a shit. Holiday BodyBag doesn't promise to save rock n' roll and doesn't claim to write good songs to fuck to. So instead of going into great detail about features and benefits.. Here is a metaphor to think about. Picture a proto-type sports car.. Hand crafted, limited edition.. Built with artistic aesthetic and containing a sick fucking motor, capable of ridiculous power and speed. Accented w/ classic materials like chrome and rare wood.. The car is a gift for someone, but they die before they ever see it.. The car is then purchased by the worlds best racer at auction.. But is killed before he ever drives it.. The car is then purchased by the drivers lawyer, but is murdered for it while putting the key in the door lock.. And on it goes.. So which is it you might ask? Is the metaphor the car, the curse, or the victims.. Or is it all of the above? Or does this metaphor actually represent something that has nothing to do w/ a band or music at all? That's for you to decide.

Geography : Since their inception in fall 2001 Geography has
created and distributed aggressive music that is as
piercing as it is frail--a nod designed to eviscerate.
Geography has forged an individual style by focusing
on elements of indie rock and the noisier side of
hardcore rather than any metallic or nostalgic
leanings. The band's propensity for experimenting
with rhythmic syncopation lends an aspect akin to math
rock while their attention to melody pulls the sound
away from being indulgently technical.
Geography has decided to play rock and roll the real
way--by playing rock and roll. They've come unarmed in
terms of business acumen. With live performances often
ending in broken equipment and bloody appendages as
well as a lust to tour, Geography are poised to piss
on your parade. Look for the EP: "Life In Binary" due
out in winter 2004/05. ( produced by Jeff Breil of
Sadaharu )

Against Tomorrow's Sky : Against Tomorrow's Sky formed in the summer of 2000. Hailing from the often overlooked music scene in Colorado Springs, Co., ATS was received with great enthusiasm right from the start. The band takes it's name from the song "Sweet Thing" by Van Morrison. Their vision is simple: Make music with as much heart as possible without resorting to lyrical cliches & exaggerated angst. Quality lyrics, infectious melodies, & interesting arrangements are just as important to them as loud guitars. But they do bring the loud guitars with a live show that is guaranteed to get your head nodding. They have been compared to bands as diverse as Slint & Superchunk & have played with band as diverse as Spoon, Cursive, The Good Life, The Pattern, Planes Mistaken for Stars, Brandston, Liars Academy, Mistletoe, Dressy Bessy, & Pedro the Lion. ATS just released their first cd on Universal Warning Records (UniversalWarningRecords.com) called "Jump the Hedges First". 8 songs that mix soulful vocals with competent musicianship, hooks for days, & intelligent lyrics.

Victim of Modern Age : Hailing from Lake Charles, Louisiana, this math-indie foursome may be headed to your hapless town soon. Since December of 2000, VOMA has been kickin' out powerfully melodic jams and playing a polished combination of strait up rock'n'roll and futuristic progressive indie rock. They are about to invade the east coast this winter and are presently working on their first music video. TransWorld Surf says VOMA is "a knife's edge up and down ride with loud louds and quiet quiets all jabbing at your heart and tearing at your senses... This is a band that must be heard. Math-indie-tech that will supply the needed power to your CD collection... Think Shellac, the Rapture, or Unwound..."

Sadaharu : We are hunched up like a pile of trash in the back of the transit bus you take to your lousy job. We scratch ourselves and mumble incoherently. Our arms make hostile, pulsing motions. in our hands are old comic books, and out of date racing forms. We have the personality of a wounded animal... confused, angry... lashing out at anything and everything. The sound is all pig shit and fists... a train that moves harder faster than it's parts can allow. With a busted eye and a handful of broken teeth, we're still not going down... We are fucking pissed and are coming to get you.

The Covert Agency : Loved and hated, the Covert Agency was a bastardized conception from Kutztown State University. Life began for this troubled trio in the summer of 1999 after founding members parted ways with a Reggae / Jazz / Hip Hop / Punk / Folk influenced sextet that went by the name of Dr. Rockstar. Having dominated the party scene during 1998 at KU, the original agents grew tired of the Drama surrounding such a high profile act and went back to basics.. In the basement of Paradise Lost tattoo parlor the Agency honed thier unique sound. A disjunctive mixture of Punk, Indie, Alt Rock, Grunge, Hard Core, Surf.. ect. ect. Edgy and intelligent, profound and cryptic. The dichotomy was endless...
